Requirements for Screenshots When Publishing Apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Market

Apple App Store

You’ll need to create three sets of screenshots, each containing 4–9 screenshots. These can be shots of the same screens, but taken on different devices.

• 5.5 inch—1242 × 2208 pixels (phone).
• 6.7 inch—1290 × 2796 pixels (phone).
• 12.9 inch—2048 × 2732 pixels (tablet, the screenshots must be taken exactly from the tablet’s screen).

Google Play Market

For Google Play, you need to prepare 4–8 screenshots in PNG or JPEG format, up to 8 MB.

Aspect ratio: 9:16.

Size: minimum 320 pixels, maximum 3,840 pixels.
